The Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) Open School UBC Chapter, is an educational extension-based organization with the Institute for Healthcare Improvement. As IHI UBC, we represent the overall organization in the translation of quality improvement and patient safety to the community. We aim to provide QI opportunities, by engaging with partners, educators and clinicians. We work with UBC, Doctors of BC, BCPSQC, EHL Vancouver, Fraser Health, Vancouver Coastal Health, etc. We also work with partners across Canada and the world who also have IHI Open School Chapters. The President leads this overall goal and holds every executive accountable while representing the overall Chapter and creating relationships in the community.
